This policy explains what The Holiday Gals Home Base ("we", "us", run by [your legal name or business name]) collects, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain.

What we collect

Account details: your name and email address.
What you add: your plans, lists, guest lists, budgets, notes, wants, closet items, trip details, and photos you upload.
Purchase details: Payhip tells us that you bought a membership, your email, and the dates. We do not see your full card number.
Usage and technical data: basic information such as how many AI requests you made per day, your browser type, and error logs.

How we use it

To run the Service and keep your data in sync across your devices, to give you access to the membership, to send account and service emails (like sign-in links), to prevent misuse, to improve the app, and to answer your questions. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your photos or plans for advertising.

Photos and AI

When you choose to use a feature that analyzes a photo, such as a room, an outfit, or a closet item, we send that photo and the question about it to our AI provider, Anthropic, to create the suggestion. We send it only when you use the feature. We ask you not to upload photos of other people's faces or private documents. Do not upload anything explicit.

Who helps us run the Service

We use these companies, who handle data for us: Supabase (database, sign-in, and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Payhip (payments and memberships), Anthropic (AI features), and [your email sending service, such as Resend] (emails). Each only receives what it needs to do its job. Links to Amazon and other stores take you to their sites, which have their own privacy policies.

Cookies and storage

We use your browser's storage and a sign-in session so the app can remember you and keep your work. We do not use advertising cookies. [If you add analytics later, describe them here.]

How long we keep it

We keep your account and content while your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your content within [30] days, except what we must keep for legal or accounting reasons (such as payment records).

Your choices

Depending on where you live (for example, California or the European Union), you may have additional rights, and we will honor them. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

Security

We use reputable providers and encrypted connections, and we limit who can access data. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

The Service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy in an important way, we will tell you in the app or by email.
