Terms of Use
Last updated: October 10, 2026
Draft for review. Fill in the items in [brackets], then have a lawyer who knows the laws that apply to your business review this page before you launch. It is written in plain language on purpose.
These terms explain how you can use The Holiday Gals Home Base (the "Service"), run by [your legal name or business name] ("we", "us"). By creating an account, buying a membership, or using the Service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What the Service is
Home Base is a planning tool and library for holidays, hosting, home, closet, cleaning, budgeting, and trips. It includes planners, printable kits, guides, recipes, and optional AI features.
2. Your account
You need an account to use the planners. Give us a real email address, keep your login private, and tell us if you think someone else has used it. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to buy a membership. [Confirm your age rule with your lawyer.]
3. Memberships and payment
Memberships are sold through Payhip. The Season Pass ($29) and Year Pass ($99) are [one-time passes that give access for the stated length of time and do not renew automatically]. Prices are in US dollars and can change for future purchases. Payhip handles your payment, and we never see your full card number. Our refund policy is part of these terms.
4. What you can do with our content
When you are a member, you get a personal license to download and use the kits, guides, recipes, and printables for yourself, your family, and your own events, including printing them and editing the Canva files. You may not resell, share, post, or give away our files or your login, or use them in a product you sell. Do not remove our name from the files.
5. Your content
You own what you put in, such as your notes, lists, and photos. You give us permission to store it and process it in order to run the Service for you, including sending photos you choose to our AI provider to produce suggestions. We do not sell your content.
6. Photos and what you may upload
Only upload photos you have the right to use. Photos must be family-friendly. Do not upload nudity, sexual content, graphic violence, illegal content, or photos of other people that they would not want shared. We may refuse or remove content and may close accounts that break this rule.
7. AI features
Some features use artificial intelligence, such as photo advice, outfit and room suggestions, and meal ideas. AI can be wrong. Suggestions are ideas, not professional advice. Check sizes, prices, safety, and food safety yourself. There are daily limits on AI use to keep the Service fair and affordable.
8. Recipes, food, and safety
Recipes and hosting tips are general guidance. Cooking times and temperatures vary. Use a food thermometer, follow safe food handling, and check ingredients for allergens. You are responsible for the choices you make in your kitchen, at your events, and in your home.
9. Links to other stores (affiliate links)
Some suggestions link to products on Amazon or other stores. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Prices and availability are set by the stores and can change. We do not sell those products and are not responsible for them. See our affiliate disclosure.
10. Acceptable use
Do not break the law, try to break or overload the Service, copy it in bulk, share your account, or use it to harass anyone.
11. Changes and availability
We may update the Service and these terms. If a change is important, we will tell you by email or in the app. We try to keep the Service running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. Keep your own copies of anything important by printing or downloading it.
12. Ending your account
You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. If we close your account without a reason that is your fault, we will refund the unused part of your membership.
13. Disclaimers and limits
The Service is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or lost profits or damages, and our total responsibility for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [your state], and disputes will be handled in [your county and state], unless your local law says otherwise.
